LEVEL 3 VEHICLE TECHNICIAN AND MOT TESTER

SALARY NEGOTIABLE - GENEROUS PACKAGE INCLUDING BONUS SCHEME AVAILABLE FOR THE RIGHT CANDIDATE.

IMMEDIATE START AVAILABLE.

22 DAYS ANNUAL LEAVE + BANK HOLIDAYS.

MONDAY – FRIDAY 8.00AM – 5.00PM. NO WEEKENDS

We are looking for a qualified Level 3 vehicle technician.

The successful candidate will join our existing workshop team at our busy west Hull garage. The garage is fully equipped with the latest tools and equipment including the latest diagnostic equipment. The successful candidate will be working on all types of cars and light commercial vehicles carrying out servicing and repair work including replacing clutches and timing belts etc.

Responsibilities:

• Conducting vehicle preparation, servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of makes and models.
• Using your technical knowledge to inspect engines and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately, using computer-based diagnostic equipment.
• Repairing or replacing broken or defective parts and resolving defects.
• Maintaining equipment and making sure tools are in good condition..
• Completing all documentation to the required standard.
• Road testing vehicles to check for faults and repairs.
• Supporting other Technicians in the Workshop.

Key Requirements:

· Must have Level 3 qualification in Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent).

· Must be able to work unsupervised.

· Must be an MOT tester or be able to complete the MOT testers course ASAP.

· A willingness to complete further training when required.

· Full, clean driving license (essential).
